There’s been some backlash about Mozilla bundling the Pocket add-on in it’s browser, but that’s not what this post is about.
If you’re experiencing issues with the Pocket add-on in Firefox displaying a never ending spin loading icon when trying to save a page, NoScript may be the culprit. The only related search result I found was a reddit post on r/firefox, but it didn’t solve the issue for me.
You need to add a site whitelist to NoScript. Here’s how I fixed it:
- Go to your NoScript Options and select the Whitelist tab. Under Address of web site, type:
about:pocket-saved
Click Allow and then click OK to save your settings.
